So in July, I'm taking an online class at Niagara College. I will be taking Introduction to Sociology. It was my boyfriend's idea to take a class, and his gift to me. What an amazing gift and an amazing boyfriend! I chose sociology because it sounds really interesting. I had taken psychology as a general elective at Humber College before, and sociology seems to be similar.
so·ci·ol·o·gy/ˌsōsēˈäləjē/Noun1. The study of the development, structure, and functioning of human society.
I went to Humber College a couple years back and received my Business Management Diploma (with honors). I LOVE school... actually, I LOVE LEARNING. I am a bit of a nerd I suppose, but there is something about knowledge and understanding things/life/people/etc. that is so powerful and interesting to me. It's also really going to help me get back on a schedule (I have a hard time waking up at a "normal" time, same with falling asleep). Many people would think this would give me more anxiety, but actually, this is going to help it. I feel so good opening up a text book and learning new things, applying them in real life, and using creative thinking to work on assignments.
Wow; this really illustrates how nerdy I truly am, but I wouldn't want it any other way!
